Title Sequence for the movie "Ex Machina". We follow Ava on her journey to become the perfect Artificial Intelligence and by definition, becoming human. We follow a representation of Ava throughout different scenes that contain objects that were stepping stones to her path of becoming human. In the end she becomes free.

Concept

In this sequence I have represented Watts as a unifier. The symbolic objects that are suspended in space define him and his life’s work.  A simple camera move, reveal that from a different angle, these floating objects are actually aligned to form a large Yin-Yang symbol. The change in perspective is consistent with how Watts brought people together and his belief that opposites can exist in harmony, interconnect, and complement and each other.
